Kamal Osman Jamjoom Est. (KOJ)
Established in 1987 in Saudi Arabia, KOJ is a leading retailer in the Middle East, managing four branded retail concepts. KOJ has a broad retail vision in the region and is currently operating over 352 stores in the key GCC markets. Two of KOJ’s own retail brands are Mikyajy and Nayomi. Further, KOJ represents Early Learning Centre in the Middle East and The Body Shop in the western part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Today, the KOJ team is represented by 1435 people from over 39 countries.
Nayomi
Nayomi was launched in 1992 as a retail brand of KOJ in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Today Nayomi has total presence of nearly 126 stores in 32key cities across KSA, UAE ,Qatar , Oman and Kuwait . Nayomi, which means ‘soft and delicate’ in Arabic, has been fulfilling the needs of thousands of fashion conscious shoppers in the region, always maintaining good value for money.
Beginning as a lingerie concept, Nayomi has today evolved into a distinctive and leading brand within the region offering a wide selection of Innerwear, Nightwear, Outerwear, Bridalwear, Fashion, Activewear and more recently Beauty products. It is the only brand of its kind representing an attractive combination of contemporary yet ethnic styles, with blended colours and fabrics to suit the diverse moods and needs of the modern yet traditionally inclined women in the Middle East.
Mikyajy
Launched 1999 as a single store concept, Mikyajy (My Makeup in Arabic) has grown into a formidable regional brand. With over 136 stores in 32 key cities across KSA, UAE, Oman , Qatar and Kuwait , Mikyajy designs cosmetics specifically for the trendy 14-24 year olds. At Mikyajy products are globally inspired and in line with international trends with product offerings that include colour cosmetics, fragrances, accessories and personal care.
The Body Shop
The Body Shop International plc has more than 2,045 stores in 52 countries worldwide. A global retailer of toiletries and cosmetics, The Body Shop is also committed to environmental protection and respect for human rights; and develop trading relationships with communities in need; against animal testing in the cosmetics industry; and encourage education, awareness and community involvement among staff and customers. The Body Shop, with 60 stores in Saudi Arabia is represented by the KOJ Group.
Early Learning Centre (ELC)
ELC is a leading UK-based company that designs and develops toys suitable for babies and children up to the age of seven. ‘Learning through play’ is ELC’s corporate motto and in fact, a company passion. This is reflected in the design and range of their toys as well as the in-store environment, where children are encouraged to touch and feel the toys on display. In the Middle East, KOJ represents ELC and is present in KSA, UAE, Oman and Qatar with a total of 43 stores.
